i for one, do believe we're all self-centered people. hur. no matter how much we try to deny it, we are essentially, all pretty effin selfish. the only difference between us, is the extent of it. me before you. me before them. we speak of others, we say we care. but at the very end of the deal, when the whole circle comes back round to you, you would have benefitted in some way or another. i think i'm waffling. haha. havin a lil problem with my coherence, pardon me (:

when you find yourself havin spent a presumably wonderful day with your best freakin buddy, after not havin seen him in a while, stop and think, is it really? cause sometimes, you may have enjoyed yourself, but he hasnt. you may have been talkin endlessly, but it's of events that he could care less about. you may think you guys jus had a powerbondin of some sort, but to him, he was probably spacin out half the time, only noddin, smilin and laughin at the necessary junctures of your monologue. i'm not necessarily sayin that we should all not talk bout ourselves. but know your limits, really.. cause sometimes it could get pretty darn annoyin. and no one dares to speak up because if they do, then they'ld be thought of as... uh. i dont know. jealous? attention seekin? they'ld probably even be thought of as self-centered because they dont wanna talk about you.
and okay, sometimes you become aware of it, so you try to shift the conversation. but barely 2 minutes have passed and voila! it's back to you again.
